Discoloration or staining of
teeth may result from various factors or conditions. Some staining may
be hereditary or environmental, and these color defects may be very superficial
or go deeper into the tooth. We offer the following techniques to improve
the appearance of your teeth.
- Bleaching - for yellow
or gray teeth without significant spots or defects in the
tooth.
- Microabrasion - for
teeth that have superficial or mildly spotted or stained
teeth.
- Cosmetic Resin Bonding
- for teeth with deeper defects or severe staining and
pitting.
- Resin Crowns - for
teeth that are severely stained or decayed and have lost the shape or when
the teeth are undersized.
On
occasion we can use combinations of these techniques to get the desired
result. A thorough clinical examination will allow us to decide which technique
is best for you.
