Infection Control
Infection control is a major
concern with us, and we do everything possible to insure our patients
are protected. AIDS has brought this issue to the forefront, but it is
important you know that infection control is just as important in preventing
the spread of other communicable diseases and bacteria as well; everything
from staph to the common cold. All of our hand pieces are cleaned and
autoclaved between each patient. We only use disposable air-water syringe
tips and sucking tips so that no patient material or fluids can be backed
into our water lines. We only use disposable prophlaxis angle to clean
and polish our patients teeth and never reuse them for another patient.
We follow or exceed all of the OSHA guidelines for a dental office for
your child's safety and comfort.
