Dr. Branam graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1972. He completed two years of additional training in pediatric dentistry at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN., where he received his Pediatric Specialty Certification in 1974 with special emphasis in early child growth and development and orthodontics.
After practicing children's dentistry in the U.S. Army, he established private practice in Oregon, OH in 1976. Since 1977 he has been on the Courtesy Staff and faculty at the University of Toledo Medical Center teaching pediatric dental techniques to dental and medical residents. Dr. Branam is also on the attending staff at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center and Toledo Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Branam is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Association of Functional Orthodontics and The American Academy of Dentistry for Handicapped Children.

Since beginning private pediatric dental practice in 1976 Dr. Stephen R. Branam has had the privilege of providing treatment for over 250,000 pediatric patient visits.
